Bullet believes the Telecel Ghana Music Awards would regain some lost excitement if organisers reopen the door for Shatta Wale to return to the event.
Speaking on Okay FM in an interview with Nana Romeo, the Rufftown Records executive said the dancehall artiste remains one of the few musicians capable of transforming the atmosphere at major entertainment events through both his presence and the support of the Shatta Movement fanbase.
“They have to bring back Shatta Wale. If only TGMA organisers would listen to my advice, they should bring him back,” he said.
Bullet pointed out that the once-public friction between Charterhouse and Shatta Wale no longer appears to be an issue, adding that both sides now seem to be on better terms.
“Charterhouse and Shatta Wale are cool now, so if they bring Shatta Wale back, it will be fun. Since he’s also a Ghanaian musician, they should talk to him,” he stated.
He further stressed that the SM fanbase creates an atmosphere that stands out anytime their leader is billed on an event lineup.
“SM fanbase has some energy they carry at events that involve their boss. Even if someone insults me for saying this, I don’t care because that’s the truth,” he disclosed.
Apart from the music industry conversation, Bullet also reflected on his personal relationship with Shatta Wale, revealing that the two shared difficult moments together before eventually finding success in their respective careers.
