Ghanaian actor and comedian Sumsum Ahuofe has opened up about his longtime admiration for singer and socialite Hajia4Reall, admitting that he never saw himself standing a chance with her.
Speaking during an appearance on Nana Romeo’s Atuu show on May 17, 2026, Sumsum recalled the moment he met Hajia4Reall in person but could not gather the confidence to speak to her.
“My crush has always been Hajia4Reall, but I know it’s impossible to have her. I’ve met her once, but I was shy so I didn’t say anything to her,” he said.
Sumsum explained that the luxurious lifestyle associated with Hajia4Reall made him feel they belonged to completely different worlds.
“There are some things that are impossible to have so I don’t bother. She’s getting Range Rover and G-Wagon and I have none,” he stated.
Even so, the comedian believes money does not always determine attraction or compatibility in relationships. According to him, some wealthy women are drawn to personality and humour rather than status.
“Sometimes, you can meet a rich lady who would just like you for just being funny,” he shared.
The actor then recounted a past relationship with a wealthy woman from East Legon who, according to him, was ready to spoil him with expensive gifts, including a Range Rover. Despite the financial comfort, he said the relationship became difficult because of her behaviour.
“I once got a woman who stays in East Legon and could buy Range Rover for me, but she’s controlling. I can’t be stuck with her because of her money so I left,” he disclosed.
For Sumsum, walking away was ultimately about protecting his peace of mind rather than staying for material benefits.
“I would have never been happy if I had been with her. She would always pick fights with me when she called me and I didn’t answer,” the actor further stated.
