Ghanaian actor Mr Beautiful has shared details about the painful experience that led to the collapse of his marriage, revealing that he is now divorced despite many people believing he was never married.
Speaking on Emelia Brobbey’s talk show, the actor explained that the problems in his marriage started after he introduced one of his friends to his wife. According to him, the relationship between the two eventually created tension that destroyed the union.
Mr Beautiful said the individual involved allegedly sowed confusion and misunderstandings in the marriage, although he declined to disclose the full details behind the fallout. He admitted the incident left a lasting emotional wound, especially because the person was a Christian.
“I befriended someone whom I introduced to my wife, and the two of them ended my marriage. The person is a Christian, and that has left me with a deep scar. I don’t trust Christians anymore; they are the most wicked people,” he said.
The actor added that the experience has changed how he relates to people, noting that he now places more trust in Muslims and people from northern Ghana while remaining careful around Christians.
Even though the marriage ended, Mr Beautiful revealed that he and his former wife still maintain a strong friendship. He said they remain in constant communication and continue to share lighthearted moments together.
According to him, they speak on the phone daily, often laughing and joking like close friends. He disclosed that they had already spoken twice on the morning before the interview.
“My wife and I are very good friends. We speak every day on the phone. We joke and laugh together. In fact, we have spoken twice this morning,” he said.
Despite their close bond, the actor stressed that there is no chance of them getting back together, saying the separation was something that was destined to happen.
