‘Big Butts Cannot Keep a Man’ – Akuapem Poloo Shares Marriage View

Akuapem Poloo

Akuapem Poloo says beauty, body shape and financial success are not enough to keep a marriage intact, arguing that none of those qualities guarantees a lasting relationship.

Speaking during an interview on Aluta FM, the Ghanaian socialite challenged what she described as a common belief among some women that physical appearance or wealth can secure a man’s commitment.

“Sometimes we ladies think beauty, having body features or being rich can keep a man,” she said.

Drawing from her observations, Poloo argued that reality often proves otherwise, noting that many women considered physically attractive have still experienced failed marriages.

“But I have noticed that there are lots of people who have good shape who have married and their marriages still collapsed.

“That should tell you that big butts cannot keep a man,” she said.

Poloo also dismissed the notion that professional accomplishment provides any greater assurance of marital success. She said women with high-profile careers and stable incomes have equally seen their marriages break down.

“There are women who work at big banks and corporations who have married, and their marriages still failed. So those things are not guaranteed to keep a man,” she added.
