Nana Aba Anamoah Reveals How She Handles Criticism and the Pressure of Fame

Nana Aba Anamoah

Ghanaian media personality Nana Aba Anamoah has revealed the mindset she adopts to navigate public scrutiny, criticism and the demands that often come with living in the spotlight.

The outspoken journalist made the revelation on X, while responding to a social media user who wanted to know how she copes with the constant attention and opinions directed at her.

Nana Aba made it clear that she does not allow public perception to dictate how she lives her life. Rather, she said her attention remains firmly on her own happiness and personal choices.

She suggested that she has little interest in keeping up appearances or worrying about how others perceive her.

“Ohh, the only status I care about is the one on my WhatsApp. On a serious note, I live for me. I do what makes me happy and don’t give a toss about who’s watching or saying what,” she said.

Her comments reflect an approach centered on personal fulfilment rather than the expectations that can come with fame.

Nana Aba also used the opportunity to share a separate piece of advice with her followers, urging them to become comfortable with setting boundaries and turning down requests when necessary.

According to her, the habit of saying yes to everyone can gradually leave a person emotionally exhausted while also taking a toll on their physical and financial wellbeing.

“Saying yes to everyone and everything will drain you emotionally, physically, and financially. Learn to say NO,” Nana Aba further wrote.
