Ghanaian actor, comedian and politician Seth Kwame Dzokoto has reportedly died after collapsing during a panel discussion at Owass FM in Tarkwa.
A deep throat source told Firstnewsroom.com that the incident occurred while Dzokoto was participating in a discussion on the radio station.
According to the report, he was rushed to a hospital following the collapse but was later pronounced dead.
Dzokoto was a familiar face on Ghanaian television, having hosted Edziban on TV3, a programme that explored Ghana’s food culture by showcasing local eateries, traditional dishes and different cuisines.
Aside from his entertainment career, Dzokoto ventured into politics and contested the 2016 general elections on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
He sought to represent the Tarkwa-Nsuaem constituency in Parliament but lost to Mireku Duker of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
His reported death marks a major loss to Ghana’s entertainment scene, where he was known for his work as an actor, comedian and television presenter.
May his soul rest in peace.
