First News has gathered that Mawuena Trebarh, the sister of the late Broadcast Journalist Komla Dumor, has passed away.
Mawuena passed on Thursday, after battling an undisclosed sickness.
Mrs. Mawuena Adzo Trebarh made history as the first female to hold the position of Chief Executive Officer at the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC) from April 2013 to January 2017. The GIPC is a government agency responsible for facilitating and promoting investments in all sectors of the Ghanaian economy.
Before her tenure at GIPC, she served as the Founding Director and Chief Business Strategist at Inspire Africa Consult Limited, a business strategy consulting firm.
