The Queen-Mother of Chiraa in the Bono Region, Nana Yeboah Pene II has indicated that same sex marriage should not be tolerated in the country.
Nana Yeboah Pene II has described same sex marriages as devilish and abominable which should not be accepted and tolerated in the Ghanaian society.
According to Nana Yeboah Pene II, the Ghanaian culture frowned on gayism and lesbianism noting posterity would not “Spare us if we sit down for these devilish acts get roots here.”
She called on religious bodies, traditional rulers and the media to collaborate and wage relentless war against the activities of the LGBTQI in the country.
Nana Pene II, who is also the Benkumhemaa of Dormaa Traditional Area called on parents to provide early sex education to their children.
She noted when children were provided with early sex education, they would be in a better position to resist and expose attempts by people who might lured them into pre-marital sex.
