Stonebwoy remains firm in his plans for the remix of Jejereje, despite suggestions from fans.
Following the release of Jejereje, many Ghanaian music enthusiasts tipped Screw Face as the ideal choice for the remix, citing his style as a strong match for the song’s composition.
However, MC Portfolio, a devoted Stonebwoy fan, countered that featuring Screw Face might make artistic sense but wouldn’t have much business impact.
For the first time, Stonebwoy addressed these comments publicly, agreeing with Portfolio’s perspective.
Speaking on Showtime with Nana Ama McBrown on Onua TV, the ‘Tomorrow’ composer emphasized the importance of commercial value for the remix of Jejereje.
Stonebwoy explained that while a remix with Screw Face would be appealing, it might lack the commercial impact or “wow” factor needed in this region.
He added that he’s open to collaborating with many artistes, but he isn’t the sole decision-maker in these matters.
