Ghanaian artiste, Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr., well-known as Shatta Wale, has revealed that he was heartbroken after Michy broke up with him.
The ‘Freedom’ composer opened up about the feelings he still has for his former girlfriend when he appeared on the Rants, Bants, and Confessions podcast recently.
Wale claims he did his best to make Michy happy by providing for her but she did not appreciate it.
Recounting circumstances leading to their breakup after being together for five years, he wished it didn’t end that way even though the future was not certain.
“You see, Shatta Michy, she should know that I love her so much that I didn’t want to leave her. But she wasn’t appreciative of all that I did for her. I don’t want to go deep into it because it was a terrible memory,” Shatta Wale said.
“Let us keep it like that, but she also gave me a broken heart,” he further stated.
