“Contracted to Cause Trouble?” Vida Adutwumwaa Blasts Women Disrupting Daddy Lumba Funeral Hearings

Entertainment critic Vida Adutwumwaa Boateng has urged Daddy Lumba’s family to halt the disturbances at the courthouse, insisting that the women causing repeated chaos during the funeral-related hearings may be acting deliberately.

According to Vida, who spoke on UTV’s United Showbiz, the continued confrontations by groups of women at each court session have become too frequent to ignore. She questioned their motives and suggested that their conduct might be coordinated.

“I’m starting to believe that the women have been contracted to cause trouble at the court hearing. If it is not contractual, why do they always go there and all they do is cause trouble? The family must stop them because it is an embarrassment to Daddy Lumba and his legacy,” she said.

Her remarks follow viral videos showing market women verbally attacking a man identified as the father of Lumba’s mistress, Odo Broni. The footage has intensified concerns about rising tensions surrounding the legal dispute over the musician’s burial.

Vida also called for stronger security at the court ahead of next week’s final judgment, saying heightened police presence is necessary to prevent further clashes.

“This week the family head was whisked away in a police car before he could leave the court, so the family must get the police on the court premises to avoid any danger at the final judgement next week,” the entertainment critic further stated.

She warned that if left unchecked, the disruptions risk overshadowing the solemn process of settling the final arrangements for the legendary musician.
