Ghanaian rapper Okyeame Kwame has opened up about what he believes has kept his marriage steady over the years, pointing to his personal choices and commitment as key factors.

Speaking in an interview with Nana Romeo on Okay FM, the award-winning artiste said he has remained faithful throughout his marriage, insisting he has never been involved in extramarital relationships since tying the knot.

He noted that his relationship with his wife spans more than two decades, explaining that they were together for four years before officially marrying 17 years ago, bringing their total time together to 21 years. He added that he sees no value in juggling multiple partners.

“We have been married for the past 17 years, but we dated for four years, so in total, we have been together for 21 years. I haven’t had any extramarital affairs in my marriage. There is no way I can cheat on my wife,” he said.

Okyeame Kwame also addressed rumours that could surface about his paternity, saying he is confident that no such claims would hold up.

He explained that he often speaks to his daughter about the issue, telling her that anyone who shows up claiming to be his child would have to be at least 22 years old.

“I have been telling my daughter that if anyone comes claiming that I am the father, the person should be at least 22 years old.

“Anyone who comes claiming that I am the father and is less than 22 years old is a liar. They should go and conduct a DNA test. There is no one I have cheated on my wife,” Okyeame Kwame stated.
