Rev. Obofour Appeals for Peace in Obinim and Ogyaba Feud

Rev. Obofour

Rev. Obofour has called for calm amid the growing public dispute surrounding Bishop Daniel Obinim, urging Ghanaians to stop turning the pastor’s marital challenges into a spectacle.

In a video circulating on social media, the founder and leader of the Anointed Palace Chapel (APC) said marital difficulties are a reality many families face and should not become grounds for public ridicule or condemnation.

He argued that if the private struggles of every married couple were exposed, countless people would come under intense public scrutiny.

“If we are to listen to the marital issues of everyone, I don’t think we would be able to stay in the country because some people are facing a lot in their marriages,” he said.

Rev. Obofour stressed that he harbours no resentment towards Bishop Daniel Obinim despite the widespread conversation surrounding the preacher’s reported separation from gospel musician Florence Obinim.

He maintained that disagreeing with someone’s actions should never justify relentless attacks on the individual, adding that anyone could experience similar circumstances.

“If Bishop had something, and you don’t like it, that doesn’t mean we should drag him online. I have no hatred for Bishop Daniel Obinim. If it has happened to Obinim, tomorrow it can be anyone,” he said.

The outspoken preacher further reminded the public that no one is immune to personal or marital challenges, warning against mocking people when they go through difficult moments.

Rev. Obofour also directed his comments at media personality and preacher Ogyaba, who has been vocal about the controversy, appealing to him to ease his criticism of the founder of the International God’s Way Church.

“So I would tell Obinim to calm down, and also Ogyaba should equally calm down and stop dragging Obinim online,” he stated.
