The Chonke-Nchumuru Youth Association has expressed its worry about the attitude of the Oti Regional Minister, Joshua Gmayenaam Makubu.
According to the Association since the gruesome murder of murdered Benkurnhene of Chonke Traditional area, Nana Meebo II and two others at Borae Ahenfie in the Krachi Nchumuru District of the Oti Region almost a week the Regional Minister has not commented on the issue.
“Since the incident happened we expect the Oti Regional Minister to comment on the incident but we have not heard anything from him condemning the act and also giving assurance as to what will be done,” The Association noted.
14 persons who were arrested in connection with the incident are still in the custody of the Police at Kete Krachi helping in investigations.
