Geqland Community School Celebrate 10 Years Of Establishment

Geqland Community School located at Kasoa in the Central Region has celebrated its 10 years of establishment.

The Proprietress of the School, Eunice Somuah speaking at the climax of activities to mark the anniversary    said, “The school was founded on September 9th, 2014, with a humble beginning of just two students. Over the years, the school has grown and flourished, providing quality education to numerous students. Despite its small beginnings, Geqland has made a significant impact in the lives of its students and the community.”

Eunice Somuah added that, “Geqland Community School offers a comprehensive curriculum that combines the Ghanaian syllabus with elements of the British curriculum. This unique blend provides students with a well-rounded education that prepares them for success in both local and international contexts.”

She disclosed that, “In addition to academic excellence, Geqland emphasizes the importance of extra-curricular activities. These activities help students develop their talents, build confidence, and cultivate creativity. Students can engage in various programs, including: Music, Dance, Acting, Acting, Entrepreneurship and Art.”

She also added that, “Our mission is to provide a supportive and inclusive learning environment that fosters academic excellence, creativity, and character development. We aim to empower students to become responsible, innovative, and compassionate leaders who make a positive impact in their communities.”

Madam Somuah also noted that, “Our vision is to be a leading educational institution in Ghana, recognized for our commitment to excellence, innovation, and community service. We strive to create a learning environment that inspires students to reach their full potential and become active contributors to society.”

The Chief Executive Officer of Polytrak Company, Kenneth Kabu Kofi Kanor on his part commended the Management of the school for providing quality education for the children in the community.

“Parents should always support their children and the school. Mothers should also support in the upbringing of their children.”

He also admonished the parents to monitor their children as thy use the internet.
