“People Think I Have Money, but I Don’t Have Anything” – Medikal Asserts

Medikal

Ghanaian rapper, Samuel Adu Frimpong, well-known as Medikal, has stated that the image many people associate with him does not reflect his true circumstances, stressing that the luxurious lifestyle seen online is far from his reality.

During a discussion with Andy Dosty on Joy Prime, he explained that fans often assume he is wealthy because of what appears on social media. According to him, that impression is misleading.

“People think I have money, but I don’t have anything. I am still upcoming,” he said, drawing laughter from the host.

Responding to questions about photos and videos showing expensive cars and signs of wealth, Medikal revealed that the vehicles featured in his posts were not his. They were borrowed strictly for creative purposes.

He added that such practices are common within the global entertainment scene.

“Even Rick Ross and others, they borrow cars to shoot content,” he said.

Medikal also took time to clarify another widespread belief, the idea that he is rude.

The AMG Beyond Kontrol rapper explained that his stage presence and online persona should not be mistaken for who he is privately. He noted that people who meet him away from the spotlight often react with surprise at how calm he is.

“You see movie actors like Rambo killing people, but in real life, they’re different people. In the same way, they shouldn’t attach my online personality to my personal life.

“I can compose a song and diss people, but that does not mean I’m rude in my personal life. That’s not how I am,” Medikal stated.
