Founder of Prophetic Hill Chapel, Prophet Nigel Gaisie, has officially pulled back his GH¢10 million defamation case filed against Prophet Nicholas Osei, popularly known as Kumchacha.
The dispute initially stemmed from public remarks and social media comments that Gaisie considered damaging to his reputation. He had accused Kumchacha of making claims suggesting he manipulated church members and gathered private information from congregants, which he allegedly repackaged as prophetic revelations.
In a new update shared on Facebook and sighted on June 10, 2026, Prophet Gaisie confirmed that he had decided to discontinue the legal action after sustained appeals from respected figures within the clergy.
“Many men of God called on me to discontinue the case, though it was extremely difficult for me to agree because of the level of damage and hurt the said man of God and his cohorts have caused me over the years.
“Following advice from my spiritual father, Prophet Emmanuel Amoako, Reverend Agyenim Boadu, Reverend Kojo Bempah, Prophet Aginco, Prophet Maxwell Acheampong, Professor Boadi Nyamkye, Prophet Nana Yaw, Jesus One Touch, and many other men and women of God, I decided not to turn them down. Therefore, I have instructed that the specific case be discontinued,” he said.
Even though he has stepped back from the lawsuit, Prophet Gaisie delivered a clear caution to Kumchacha, warning that any further remarks about him or his ministry could trigger a fresh legal response.
He stated that while he chose peace this time due to appeals from the religious fraternity, he would not hesitate to return to court if provoked again.
He further stressed that he felt unsupported during periods of personal difficulty and urged critics and commentators to refrain from spreading narratives about his work and ministry.
“But let it be on record that if he does that to me or to any investment connected to me again, I will return to court and respectfully not listen to anyone this time. Ministry work, business, and every achievement are not easy to attain, so people should mind their own business and allow others to live in peace and do their work.
“Again, out of the respect I have for the body of Christ, I have listened, but he should be spoken to and told not to mention my name again. We are only colleagues in ministry; I do not share anything with him privately,” he added.
