Gospel musician Ohemaa Mercy believes actress and media personality Nana Ama McBrown has a divine assignment that extends beyond her career in entertainment.
The singer made the revelation in a video shared on Instagram on August 20, 2026, where she said McBrown had been called by God to minister His word.
Ohemaa Mercy said McBrown carries a unique grace and has a greater purpose to fulfil if she chooses to embrace the calling. She added that she has been praying about the actress’s spiritual journey since 2020.
She also expressed confidence that McBrown would thrive if she accepted the responsibility, suggesting that the actress could even take up a leadership role in Christian programmes.
Ohemaa Mercy explained that McBrown’s encounter with people often reveals the different ways God works through individuals. She said McBrown has a calling, adding that she had previously prophesied to her about it and believes she must obey and walk in that direction.
She further said McBrown could chair the Women of the Altar programme and disclosed that she had been praying about the matter from 2020 until now. According to her, she remains convinced that God will use the actress.
McBrown appeared receptive to the revelation and opened up about her personal relationship with God.
She said her mornings often begin with thoughts of God, whom she considers the purest and cleanest presence in her life. She explained that she gives thanks before getting out of bed and maintains a deep sense of gratitude for what she has received.
The actress also reflected on her pregnancy with her daughter, Maxin, saying she initially struggled to believe she was pregnant because of a special feeling she could not explain.
McBrown added that people who are invited to prayer centres should attend wholeheartedly because approaching such encounters with genuine faith can lead to positive outcomes.
She also credited Ohemaa Mercy’s Tehillah Experience with having a significant impact on her life.
According to McBrown, her daughter Maxin was born after eight months and two days of pregnancy and has remained healthy since birth. She said the child has also been eating well.
Nana Ama McBrown revealed that she had prayed for protection over herself and her daughter, specifically asking that no threatening condition would affect either of them. She said she remains grateful to God for answering those prayers.
