Prophet Kumchacha has made a sweeping claim about relationships in Ghana, arguing that women in the current generation rarely have only one man in their lives.
According to the Heaven’s Gate Ministries leader, most Ghanaian women maintain relationships with several men because they rely on different partners for different forms of financial support.
Speaking on Asempa FM, Kumchacha, whose real name is Nicholas Osei, accused some women of deliberately trying to outsmart men and turning relationships into sources of financial gain.
He claimed that it is common for a woman to have several boyfriends, with each one allegedly assigned a particular responsibility ranging from paying rent to buying personal items.
“This current generation of women are using men for their own financial gains. There is not even one woman in Ghana who has only one boyfriend. Some have as many as five, six, or seven boyfriends. They are using the men for susu. These women do not have jobs of their own, but they are doing susu.
“They have one man who pays their rent, another who buys them an iPhone, and another who takes care of their hair. So, currently, women in this generation are using men for their own financial gains,” Kumchacha said.
The prophet also linked what he described as women’s financial dependence on men to participation in susu, a traditional savings system in which individuals contribute money regularly and receive their pooled contributions according to an agreed arrangement.
Kumchacha further shared his views on the type of woman he believes a man should avoid when considering marriage.
He said women who repeatedly ask men for money do not meet his standard for a potential wife, going as far as describing such women as prostitutes.
“The type of women I don’t like are those who constantly ask men for money. Any woman who always ask men for money is a prostitute. She is not someone a man should consider marrying. Similarly, women who attend funerals and grind on men at the funeral grounds are also not the kind of women I believe should be married,” Prophet Kumchacha further stated.

@asempa_fm There is no single woman in Ghana who doesn’t have more than two boyfriends. 99% of them are cheats. They depend on men for their livelihood. — Prophet Kumchacha #bibiabibia ♬ original sound – ASEMPA FM
