Shatta Wale has called on Stonebwoy to apologise to Sarkodie, arguing that the rapper’s controversial social media post was never aimed at the dancehall artiste.
The outspoken musician weighed into the growing disagreement between the two artistes during a TikTok Live session on September 11, 2026, where he appeared in a lawyer’s outfit and took on the role of delivering his own judgment on the matter.
With his usual theatrical style, Shatta Wale challenged Stonebwoy’s decision to take offence at Sarkodie’s post and questioned the manner in which the musician had responded to the rapper online.
“You want to talk to Sarkodie anyhow on the internet? You think you can win this case? Something dey do you erh? People give you chance so you feel say right you have the mouth to speak. Haven’t you seen your picture with Sarkodie where you have your hands at your back? What happened to your humility? Are you okay?” he questioned.
His comments come amid a public back-and-forth between Sarkodie and Stonebwoy that has drawn considerable attention from fans and other figures within Ghana’s music industry.
Shatta Wale also suggested that Stonebwoy’s reaction could be connected to the close relationship he shares with Sarkodie, despite the history of disagreements between himself and the rapper.
According to him, his friendship with Sarkodie has survived their past conflicts, and Stonebwoy should not allow his personal differences with Shatta Wale to affect his relationship with the rapper.
“Is it by force for me to be your friend? I don’t like friends that have bitterness in them. Stonebwoy I put it you you that you should come and apologise to Sarkodie. Because what Sarkodie wrote on the internet, he didn’t talk about you.
“You’re pained about the Shatta-Sark brotherhood. Sarkodie is my person. Irrespective of whatever beef I have had with him, we have a special bond. Brothers fight and still continue being related. Sarkodie’s energy gels with mine. It’s why you’re jealous. Don’t let your enmity with me cause you to disrespect Sarkodie,” Shatta Wale stated.
