Settle Your Differences Privately – Don Little To Stonebwoy And Sarkodie

Stonebwoy - Don Little and Sarkodie

Ghanaian actor and comedian Don Little has called on Stonebwoy and Sarkodie to end their recent public exchanges and resolve their differences away from social media.

The actor made the appeal in a video shared online, where he urged the two musicians to handle their disagreement with maturity and avoid allowing their personal issues to play out in public.

Don Little said both artistes have become influential figures in Ghana’s music industry, with many younger musicians looking up to them. He therefore believes their actions, particularly when disagreements become public, could have an impact on those who see them as role models.

“This matter, you guys are grown-up adults. You don’t have to allow people to know your issues on social media. You have to call yourselves and settle your differences quietly,” he said.

While addressing the situation, Don Little was careful not to declare support for either musician. He stressed that he respects both Stonebwoy and Sarkodie and was only offering his perspective on how the disagreement could be handled.

“Stonebwoy and Sarkodie, I like you guys. I don’t want to take sides in this issue, but I have to tell you the little I have for you,” he stated.

The comedian also questioned why a disagreement between two artistes who have a close relationship and had discussed working together should have found its way onto social media.

He recalled a scenario in which the two friends had planned to record music together and suggested that an informal moment between them should not become the basis for a public dispute.

“The person is your friend and he came to your house. If you guys planned to record music and he came to your house to eat jollof, this is not an issue to talk about on social media,” he shared.

Don Little went on to make a direct appeal to Stonebwoy, encouraging him to let the matter rest rather than allowing it to escalate publicly.

He also advised the dancehall musician to consider silence when dealing with sensitive disagreements, while making it clear that his comments should not be interpreted as an accusation against Sarkodie.

“Stonebwoy, I like you, so let this go. It’s someone who is closer to you that will sell you out. I’m not saying Sarkodie is selling you out, but it’s a normal thing. Silence is key and everything,” he averred.

According to Don Little, the two musicians have a responsibility to consider the example they are setting for emerging artistes. He believes the ongoing public exchanges should come to an end before the situation creates further tension.

“You’re the ones the young musicians are looking up to, so you have to stop all this fighting in the media,” he further stated.
