Robert Kelker-Kelly, the actor widely known for his role as Bo Brady on the long-running soap opera “Days of Our Lives,” has died at the age of 62.

The Missouri medical examiner confirmed to TMZ that Kelker-Kelly died on October 3. His cause of death has not yet been disclosed.

Kelker-Kelly built his television career across several popular daytime dramas, making his acting debut on “Another World” in 1987 as Sam Fowler.

His career took a major turn in 1992 when he joined the cast of “Days of Our Lives” as Bo Brady. He succeeded Peter Reckell in the role and went on to portray the character alongside Kristian Alfonso, who played Hope Brady, and Lisa Rinna, who starred as Billie Reed.

Kelker-Kelly’s stint as Bo Brady lasted until 1995, when Reckell returned to the role.

Beyond “Days of Our Lives,” Kelker-Kelly continued to work in daytime television. He later appeared on “General Hospital,” where he played Stavros Cassadine.

His name resurfaced in the headlines earlier this year after Rinna addressed their time working together in her memoir. She alleged that Kelker-Kelly was verbally abusive and manipulative and accused him of playing mind games with her during their time on the soap.

Rinna further claimed that Kelker-Kelly’s sudden departure from “Days of Our Lives” led NBC to arrange security for her and Alfonso for several weeks. Kelker-Kelly did not publicly respond to the allegations.

Away from acting, Kelker-Kelly also worked as a professional pilot.
