Shatta Wale has expressed that Stonebwoy should have received a jail sentence after pulling a gun at the 2019 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA).
The Ghanaian dancehall artist questioned the lack of consequences for Stonebwoy’s actions during an appearance on the Rants, Bants, and Confessions podcast.
“If it was me, I would have gone to jail. So why didn’t they take him to jail?” he asked, adding that Stonebwoy’s actions should have led to an arrest.
Shatta Wale also revealed that he has made multiple attempts to reconcile with Stonebwoy.
“There have been several times I’ve suggested we settle our differences and collaborate to make money from this,” he said.
However, Shatta Wale accused Stonebwoy and others in the industry of insincerity, saying, “Stonebwoy and the rest are not real; they’re full of fake people. I hate the fact that they’re not being genuine. I don’t have a problem with Stonebwoy, so why should people think otherwise?”
He further clarified that any past issues were with Samini, not Stonebwoy.
