A touching scene from a recent event in Canada has taken over social media after Kofi Owusu Aduonum openly celebrated his wife, Afua Asantewaa, in front of a live audience, a moment that moved her to tears.
During the gathering, the sports journalist paused proceedings and called on attendees to acknowledge his wife, noting her role in the family and her upcoming birthday.
“She is my wife and the mother of three. She has been amazing. She has taken care of the children for a long time in my absence. I want you to say a very big thank you to her for me. Tomorrow is her birthday,” he said.
He continued with an emotional appeal, adding, “She means so much to me and the children. I love her, and when you are praying, please say a prayer for her.”
