Shatta Wale has added another international milestone to his career after reportedly emerging with two wins at the 43rd edition of the International Reggae and World Music Awards (IRAWMA) in Florida, USA.

News of the achievement was announced by Sammy Flex, the musician’s former manager who now serves as Public Relations Officer for Shatta Movement Music Production, in a statement released on May 18, 2026.

According to the release, the dancehall artiste claimed the awards for Best African Dancehall Entertainer and Concert of the Year, the latter earned through his 2025 ShattaFest concert. The ceremony took place over the weekend in the United States.

The management team used the statement to thank organizers of the IRAWMA Awards for acknowledging Shatta Wale’s impact on African music and for consistently giving African artistes a platform on the international stage.

Appreciation was also extended to supporters around the world, particularly members of the Shatta Movement fan base, for what management described as years of loyalty, dedication, and voting support.
