Heavy flooding that swept through parts of Accra on June 29 has reignited public attention around Ebo Noah, but rapper M.anifest believes the renewed spotlight is misplaced.
Reacting to the growing online conversation, the Ghanaian rapper urged social media users to stop giving Ebo Noah a platform, describing his latest actions as an attempt to capitalise on a national tragedy while many families are still grappling with the impact of the floods.
Expressing his frustration in a social media post, M.anifest labelled Ebo Noah an opportunist and questioned why he continued to receive attention.
“Please stop amplifying Ebo hwaen hwaen. People are going thru real tragic losses and trauma from the floods and here goes another charlatan that should never have been platformed being opportunistic. Kmt,” he wrote.
Ebo Noah became a widely discussed figure in 2025 after predicting that Accra would experience severe flooding on December 25, a claim that attracted international attention.
The forecast, however, did not materialise. Despite that, the publicity surrounding his prediction boosted his profile and eventually earned him a guest appearance at Sarkodie’s Rapperholic 25 concert.
He was later arrested over allegations of fraud and causing fear and panic among the public before being released.
Following the latest flooding that struck Accra after the June 29 rains, Ebo Noah has returned to the spotlight. In a video shared online, he insisted his earlier prediction had been correct and claimed he had been persecuted instead of believed.
Below is his post.
