McBrown Reveals Plans for Life at 50, Travel, Freedom and Zero Tolerance for Disrespect

Nana Ama McBrown

At 50, Nana Ama McBrown says she will live on her own terms, shut out disrespect, and embrace a bolder, more unapologetic version of herself.

While hosting Onua Show Time on April 27, 2026, she opened up about the road she has travelled, describing a life shaped by struggle but sustained by faith. Her remarks were not just a look back but a clear signal that she intends to approach her next phase differently.

At the centre of her message was a striking declaration about turning 50, a milestone she says will come with a noticeable shift in how she lives and responds to people.

“Once I hit 50, the things I will do will shock everyone,” she said.

She did not shy away from revisiting the difficulties that have defined parts of her journey, stressing that her survival and success are rooted in divine grace.

“I have suffered a lot in life and I’m here today because of God’s mercy,” she stated.

Looking ahead, McBrown made it clear that patience for disrespect will be in short supply. She suggested that age will come with firmer boundaries and a refusal to entertain certain attitudes.

“From 50 years and beyond, when you talk to me, I won’t mind you and you will be pained,” she shared.

She added that maturity would sharpen her judgment, helping her separate sincere guidance from ill intent.

“By that age, I will know who’s advising me and who’s jealous of me. I will take advice from those who will advise me. Whoever would talk to me anyhow, like I’m a child, I will use God to curse the person,” she noted.

Beyond setting boundaries, she spoke with excitement about embracing life more fully, with travel and new experiences high on her list.

“I will live life more, travel the world, explore new places and enjoy every moment. Life hasn’t been easy and everyone has something to say about life,” she said.

She also took a moment to contrast the industry she entered years ago with today’s fast-moving media space, pointing out how dramatically things have changed.

“When we started, it wasn’t like this era where TV stations and social media are all over and now, everyone can do something for themselves,” Nana Ama McBrown further stated.
