Police offer GH¢50K bounty for information on suspect threatening public officials

The Ghana Police Service has declared a male suspect wanted and is offering a GH¢50,000 reward for information leading to his arrest.

The suspect, who identified himself as Kanawu in a viral video, threatened to harm and shoot public officials and anyone who comes in his way.

The Police in a social media post [X] announced the bounty, urging the public to come forward with any relevant information to aid in the suspect’s arrest.

The goal, according to them is to hold accountable those responsible for making such threats against public officials.
