Stonebwoy has used the recent bail granted to Webkid as a reminder to his fans about the importance of staying out of trouble with the law.
The dancehall artiste shared the message during a live TikTok session, where he reflected on the consequences that can follow actions that attract legal scrutiny. According to him, obtaining bail should not be mistaken for the end of a legal battle, as court proceedings continue even after a suspect regains temporary freedom.
His comments followed the release of Webkid, who was granted GH¢100,000 bail with two sureties after spending over a month in custody.
While interacting with viewers, the Burniton Music Group owner encouraged supporters to avoid situations that could jeopardise their freedom, stressing that prevention is far better than dealing with the courts afterward.
“You guys stay safe and stay free. Don’t go and do anything that will make them bail you. If they bail you, they will still judge your matter. So stay safe and stay free,” Stonebwoy stated.
Webkid’s legal troubles stem from allegations that he made defamatory remarks about Stonebwoy and members of the musician’s family.
The social media commentator remained in custody for about 41 days before securing bail on June 22, 2026. Although he has been released, the case remains before the court and is yet to be determined.
