Kete Muslim Youth Association Donates An Anesthesia Machine To Krachi Hospital
The Kete Muslims Youth Association, as part of its commitment to social responsibility and the well-being of the Krachi West Municipal, has donated an anesthesia machine to the surgery department of the Krachi West Municipal Hospital in the Oti Region.
This essential medical equipment will facilitate the delivery of quality health care within the municipality and beyond.
This initiative addresses the critical need for medical equipment to enhance patient care and treatment during surgical procedures. As a development-oriented association, the Kete Muslims Youth Association believes that this donation underscores its commitment to promoting development in Krachi West.
At a brief ceremony, Hisham Osman, a biological scientist, lecturer at UDS, and the Tamale branch secretary of the association, presented the equipment.
He acknowledged the important role of the surgical department in healthcare and expressed optimism that this donation would positively impact patient care and the efficiency of the department.
He added that the use of the anesthesia machine would enhance the quality of health care, ensuring successful surgical procedures for both staff and patients.
“This contribution also aligns with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 3, which aims to ensure good health and well-being for all, at all ages. Osman advised that the machine should be used responsibly and safely.”
Dr. Hillary Gadzey, the Medical Superintendent of the hospital, expressed gratitude to the Kete Muslims Youth Association for their continuous efforts to improve health care delivery through various interventions.
“The donation of the anesthesia machine is timely and will help the hospital discharge its duties effectively and efficiently. I hope this act of support and kindness will inspire others to follow suit.”
