“Cherish Your Freedom” – Nana Agradaa Advises After Eight Months in Prison

Patricia Asiamah, the General Overseer of Heaven Way Chapel International and widely known as Mama Pat or Nana Agradaa, has cautioned the public to steer clear of actions that could land them in prison, stressing that her own time behind bars was deeply unpleasant.

She made the remarks in a recent video circulating online, where she opened up about what she went through during her incarceration and the strict conditions she had to endure.

Agradaa described prison life as physically exhausting, saying inmates were required to wake up as early as 5:30 a.m. and immediately begin demanding chores such as scrubbing gutters and carrying out other strenuous duties.

“I spent eight months in prison, I ate ‘zontoli’, I went to bed at 5:30, I scrubbed gutters and toilets, I even carried blocks. Prison is real,” she recounted her ordeal.

She added that the experience left a lasting impression on her and urged people to avoid any conduct that could bring them into conflict with the law.

According to her, individuals facing disputes should make every effort to resolve them early and peacefully before they escalate into court cases or legal battles.

She further advised that when someone is taken to court, it is wiser to apologise and seek forgiveness where necessary rather than risk imprisonment. “Anything that will connect you to prison, stay away from it. Let no one lie to you and make you feel you’re too big. If someone threatens you with a legal fight, apologize because it is difficult,” she advised.

Agradaa also expressed gratitude to her husband for standing by her throughout the eight months she spent in prison.

Concluding her message, she said she would not wish the experience on anyone and urged the public to value their freedom and avoid situations that could jeopardise it. “Cherish your freedom,” Nana Agradaa advised.
