2024 elections in Ghana: Shatta Wale implores fans to vote wisely

Ghanaian artiste Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr., popularly known as Shatta Wale, has implored his fans to vote wisely ahead of the 2024 elections in Ghana.

He told them to make a wise decision when voting while performing at an event.

Amid his performance at the recently held Ghana Report Concert at Independence Square, the ‘Freedom’ composer paused and sent his message to the fans.

He further advised his supporters not to fall for political gimmicks and hollow promises—as political parties in the country are known for such.

“If you’re going to vote, please be wise about it. Don’t fall for any fanfooling. I don’t want you to vote for some party and later come complaining. Vote wisely,” Shatta Wale stated.

While some Ghanaian artistes publicly declare their support for political parties, Wale has refused to follow suit.
