Ghanaian actor and comedian Kwadwo Nkansah, widely known as Kwadwo Nkansah or Lilwin, has addressed the viral DNA controversy circulating online, insisting the claims are not real but part of publicity efforts tied to his upcoming movie.

The speculation began after a video surfaced on social media showing the Kumawood star appearing to disclose that a child he had raised for several years was not biologically his. The clip quickly gained traction online, sparking intense debate and curiosity about the actor’s personal life.

As reactions spread across social media, many users questioned the circumstances surrounding the revelation and its possible implications for the actor’s marriage and family.

However, Lilwin’s management team, Wezzyempire, has stepped in to clear the air. In an official press statement, the team dismissed the claims, explaining that the DNA discussion circulating online was not connected to any real-life situation involving the actor.

The statement further clarified that the issue forms part of the narrative for the actor’s new film project and should not be interpreted as a reflection of his personal life.

According to the press release, the ongoing conversation regarding DNA is purely a storyline from the movie and has absolutely no reflection on Lilwin’s personal life.

Management also reassured the public that the actor’s marriage remains intact, adding that his current focus is on promoting the upcoming film.

The controversy was initially sparked during a TikTok Live session in which Lilwin made remarks that many viewers interpreted literally, leading to widespread reactions and speculation online.

Following the clarification, his team has urged the public to disregard the circulating rumours and avoid drawing conclusions from the viral video.
