Ghanaian singer Francisca Gawugah, known in the music scene as Sista Afia, has openly rallied behind Wendy Shay as anticipation builds for the upcoming Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA).

Her show of support comes shortly after the TGMA board unveiled the 2025 nominations on Saturday, March 14. Wendy Shay emerged with seven nominations, including a spot in the highly competitive Artiste of the Year category. She is up against heavy contenders such as Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, Diana Hamilton, Black Sherif, and Medikal.
