Black Stars of Ghana

Coach Carlos Queiroz has unveiled his final squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup after an extensive review process involving scouting, performance tracking and detailed player assessments across eligible candidates for the summer tournament in Canada, Mexico and the United States.

In the goalkeeping department, the selection includes Benjamin Asare, Lawrence Ati-Zigi and Joseph Anang, while Solomon Agbesi joins the group as an additional squad member for support roles.

At the back, Cyprus-based defender Derrick Luckassen earns a recall after stepping in for Alexander Djiku, who has been ruled out due to a hamstring injury expected to sideline him for at least six weeks.

Players such as Gideon Mensah, Baba Abdul Rahman, Thomas Partey, Alidu Seidu, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku, Kamaldeen Sulemana, Antoine Semenyo, Iñaki Williams and captain Jordan Ayew all retain their places for yet another appearance on football’s biggest stage.
