Shatta Wale Reportedly Loses $2M EP Deal Following Controversy Over Seized Lamborghini

Shatta Wale - Shaxi

Ghanaian dancehall star Shatta Wale has been dealt a major setback after losing a $2 million distribution deal for his “Voice of the Crown” EP.

Shatta Movement’s public relations officer, Sammy Flex, attributed the loss to damaging media coverage that he says is disrupting business plans for the project.

“Damn! Now these reports circulating online are disturbing business after this 2million dollar distribution deal of the Voice of the Crown EP fell out. I am getting worried Chaley!!!” he posted on Facebook.

In response, Shatta Wale acknowledged the disappointment but urged his team to remain hopeful. “Say no more Boss, Epain we all but God deh… Stay strong #GODISHERE O#VOTCEP will still fly no matter what Man go do,” he wrote.

The development comes on the heels of recent controversy involving a Lamborghini Urus seized from Shatta Wale’s possession by the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO).

Officials allege the luxury car was bought with proceeds from multi-million-dollar romance and business scams run by convicted Ghanaian-American fraudster Nana Kwabena Amuah.
