Ofori-Atta’s Update On Essipon Stadium Not Accurate – Joe Ghartey

The Member of Parliament (MP) for Essikado-Ketan Constituency in the Western Region, Joe Ghartey has written to the Ministry of Youth and Sport demanding an update on the state of work so far on the Essipon Stadium in his constituency.

According to the MP, the Finance Minister, Ken Ofori-Atta’s statement delivered on Wednesday, 17th November 2021 in Parliament stated that the rehabilitation works on the Essipon stadium is 90% completed but his checks are contrary to the Minister’s claim.

“My checks reveal otherwise. As Member of Parliament for the area, I would be grateful if you could furnish me with the update of the said project which is located in my constituency,” portion of the letter seen by Starrfm.com.gh to the Ministry of Youth and Sports reads.
