A 27-year man, Friday Asuquo, is in the grips of the Anambra State Police for shooting his friend, Kingsley Araino for owning him N1,000.00.
SP Haruna Mohammed, Spokesperson of the Anambra State Police Command in an interview with First News said, “The culprit had a misunderstanding with one Kingsley Araino over N1, 000 naira debt. Following the altercation, the suspect quickly rushed inside one City of Restoration Church, Amawbia, brought out a pump-action gun loaded with four live cartridges and allegedly shot the victim at his back.”
SP Mohammed disclosed that Friday Asuquo was immediately arrested, the victim was rushed to the Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University Teaching Hospital where he is receiving treatment.
