Patricia Asiedua Asiamah, otherwise known as Nana Agradaa, has weighed in on the growing trend of cosmetic enhancements, calling on pastors, prophets and their spouses to embrace the bodies and lives they have been blessed with rather than seeking to imitate others.
The founder and leader of Heaven Way Chapel International delivered the message during a live broadcast, a clip of which has since gained attention across social media platforms. In the video, she urged members of the clergy and their partners to resist the pressure of comparison and learn to appreciate their natural appearance.
Agradaa stressed that pastors should value the wives they have, while pastors’ wives should avoid altering their bodies in pursuit of societal standards or trends.
“Be content with what you have. If you’re a pastor, be content with your wife; you’re a pastor’s wife with small buttocks, be content with it. That’s what God gave you,” she said.
Turning her attention to gospel singer Florence Obinim, the wife of Bishop Daniel Obinim, Agradaa argued that choices often come with consequences and cautioned people to think through major personal decisions before taking action.
She maintained that Florence’s husband loved and accepted her before she underwent any body enhancement procedures, suggesting that the changes had contributed to difficulties in the marriage.
“Before you enhanced your body, your husband loved you. Before you enhanced your buttocks and other parts, your husband loved you, so what is the sense of what you did? It has rather collapsed your marriage,” she claimed.
Drawing from her own experience, Agradaa said she has never felt the need to alter her appearance and believes her husband’s affection for her has never depended on physical enhancement.
“My husband loves me as I am. My husband, Asiamah, said he loves me just as I am,” she stated.
